Egg BLT Sliders
Whether you’re needing a delicious game day bite, after school/work snack, or an easy meal option, you can always count on an egg. Even better, let’s turn it into a slider! As we’re all egg lovers in this house, I was excited to share this new discovery – Egg BLT Sliders with crispy bacon, lettuce, and tiny tomato slices. All nestled inside a hardboiled egg. Is that genius, or what?!
These protein-packed bites are full of flavor – and so easy to make! Every bite gives you that satisfying, salty BLT crunch, made much healthier and low-carb. Perfect for a nutritious, quick weekday lunch when you’re on the go.
Let’s jump into the recipe!
Ready to make your own Egg BLT Sliders?
• To hard-boil eggs: Place eggs in a medium saucepot. Cover with cold water. Set to medium heat and bring to a boil. Turn off heat, keeping the pan on the hot burner. Cover and let sit for 10-12 minutes. Rinse eggs with cold water and peel shell.
• To cook bacon: In a large skillet to set medium-low, cook bacon until crisp, about 5-6 minutes. Drain on paper towels; set aside.
• Cut each hard-boiled egg in half. Cut a tiny bit off the bottom of one half, so it will stand up – only do this to 4 eggs, so that your top half is not cut.
• Spread a bit of mayonnaise on top of the bottom egg half. Top with a piece of bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and another piece of bacon. Cover with its egg top. Secure with a toothpick or bamboo skewer.
• Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
• Serve and enjoy!

Quick tip: Use pre-cooked hardboiled eggs from your grocery’s dairy section. So much easier!
Don’t like mayo? Feel free to substitute the mayonnaise for your preferred spread. Ranch dressing, tangy mustard, aioli, or anything you like goes!
Don’t have cherry tomatoes or green leaf lettuce? One slice of Roma tomato works fine, and you can use any lettuce.
Don’t want to cook the bacon? You can use pre-cooked bacon found in your grocery store. I like to sprinkle my sliders with a bit of Everything Bagel seasoning, which has onion flakes, sesame seeds and poppy seeds.
Serving these as a meal? Add a big green salad on the side, and maybe some grilled chicken, steak or fish for extra protein. For an even easier side? Go with pickles, French fries and crispy potato chips!
For making ahead: Prepare egg sliders up to 1-3 hours ahead of serving. I do not recommend preparing and storing overnight, as the lettuce and tomato will wilt. However, you can cook the eggs and bacon ahead of time.
